What are the best (or Top 5) undergrad International Business programs in the nation?
Posted by admin | Under top business colleges Tuesday Jan 13, 2009I'm going to college next year, and I want to know which US colleges/universities have the best and most prestigious International Business Administration programs
MIT and Michigan are great. But overall, UC Berkeley (aka Haas School of Business) is the best choice, since the school is not just about strong academics, but also allows you to develop your inner most interests beyond what any other school in the nation offers.
You can even invent your own major under their interdisciplinary studies department: You can create a hybrid major of International Business with something else you enjoy.
Check out the U.S. Universities ranking link I attached. It's of the best business grad schools, and although it is not for undergraduate studies, it is nonetheless a strong indicator of the overall quality of its department. And don't take my word for inventing majors at Berkeley, either; I also attached a link.
Good luck!
Georgetown U is Internationally focused. Their foreign service program as well as Arabic studies etc is beyond compare. The Business undergrad is also as good as a grad school since it is far advanced in the ethics/Sarbanes- Oxley rules. I would check into it. I dont know about prestige but i know quality.

Penn's Wharton is just plain number one for any business focus. MIT is 2 and after that there are several on equal foting: NYU Stern, Berkeley Haas, Georgetown, Michigan Ross. Though for top international business jobs you don't need to, and most donb;'t, study business. Economics at any ivy league schookls will land you the top jobs.

Northeastern University's program is really good. It may not be as highly ranked as the others, but when it comes to case study competitions, we have better scores than the higher-ranked schools every time. They don't just concentrate on academics, they do a better job of actually preparing you for real life.
