I'm currently working towards my BS in Business Administration at the University of Southern California. We are required to major in another topic within the business school like marketing, communication, etc. I was planning on international business because it seems cool that you can work on a business level with people from other cultures and countries. I was wondering exactly what kind of a job I could get if I chose to emphasize my business studies in international business.
I imagine it would be helpful if you look for a job with any business who works on an international level. It might also help if you were looking to go work for a company in another country. Pretty much anything that operates on an international level, across countries, is going to have some sort of business aspect, and an international business degree would look good for those sorts of positions.
What kind of a career can I get if I have a degree in international business?

Which degree is better? International Business Degree or Marketing Degree? ten points to most helpful!?
Posted by admin | Under international business degrees Friday Jan 9, 2009I’m considering either international business or marketing. What is better in terms of job prospects in the future? I really want to travel the world and maybe in the future be a photographer for national geographic or discovery. For now, I want to acquire a business degree, but am confused between the two. Please tell me which one is better and which one provides you with a fun, rewarding and adventurous job. THANKS
If you want to be a photo journalist you are focusing on the wrong degree. You should contact photographers who have worked for National Geographic and Discovery and ask them.

What can you do with a degree in International Business (Japanese)?
Posted by admin | Under international business degrees Monday Jan 5, 2009I would love to major in International Business and go into Japanese/Business. But my mom believes that you really can’t do anything with that degree!
So the question is, what can you do with a degree in International Business?
I mean what careers are available!
Any business degree is a good degree. Also, all business has become global and knowing multiple languages is a major plus. International business is a good degree, and an MBA in it would even better. In addition to Japanese, learn Chinese.=====================================

1st – any bachelor's degree is useful in some way. 2nd and more importantly, DO WHAT YOU LIKE and not what you think will make you money or or what others think you should do, because eventually, if you don't really like what you are doing, you most likely won't be successful ( or you won't enjoy your success). Trust me, I know.
