I am a busy mom and would need something affordable.
Ashworth College if you are looking for Associates degree.
Kristin worked hard to finish her degree in accounting from University of Phoenix. She knew her life was too busy to attend classes in a classroom. She completed her accounting degree online from University of Phoenix. Explore the accounting degrees at University of Phoenix at http://www.phoenix.edu/information/degree-accounting.aspx

I am interested in getting a degree online for accounting and/or business management, but cannot actually participate in a live classroom environment. I would like to try to get my degree online but am not having much luck finding any that are worthwhile, notable and inexpensive. Any help or suggestions would be great.
Check out University of Upper Iowa. They offer an online Bachelor's in Accounting and it is less expensive than University of Phoenix.
Good luck!
I am currently enrolled in an online accounting program to obtain my bachelors degree in accounting. I'm curious as to whether or not a person can attend 2 different schools at the same time. While still attending my school, I wanted to know if I could apply to another to obtain an accounting diploma online. I just thought it might further my career to have as much training as possible, but I didn't know if you could actually do this or not. Any advice would be appreciated.
Most employers consider online degrees to be worthless — so having two won't help you very much. That being said — I doubt that you would be turned down if you apply. Most of the online universities are For Profit schools that accept nearly everyone. This is one of the reason their degrees are not taken seriously. Another is their shady practices. The University of Phoenix was recently fined $9.8MM for shady employment practices and is currently under investigation for padding their placement numbers.
You would be much better off getting one degree at a real university.
I am looking for distance/online learning curriculum that offers a degree in accounting. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
I believe that Bentley College and Northeastern University both specifically offer accounting as one of their online majors. Check them first, because those are considered very strong accounting schools. Bentley especially. If they don’t have it, then try U Maryland, Penn State, UMass Amherst, and Southern New Hampshire University. All offer significant numbers of business degrees online, but I simply don’t remember if accounting is one of them.
